The second arctic expedition of my life. We were a group of five, all classmates in a guiding school, all eager for an adventure.
An expedition that swept me flying off my feet. Winds up to 70km/h, a routine system still in development and gear in the group sub-optimal - at one point evacuation became a reality.

An expedition in the Swedish mountains, off the beaten track where no trails existed. We ventured into the wilderness as a group of classmates, but came back as a family.
It was not without challenges though - as on the first evening we realised, none of us had brought any extra fuel.

I had never sat in a kayak before, so when I first felt myself slowly gliding though the water like smooth dolphin, another world had showed itself to me.
It was probably one of the smoothest trips I have been on but still - a trip would not be complete without a few challenges here and there.

Climbing is one of my absolute favourite disciplines. Idea for this trip was to build a strong base where rest of the climbing techniques can be built on - belaying, rappelling, anchor building and rope work.
It was the most amazing way to form a group on the first weeks of guiding school.

5 years into my journey I went on the first arctic expedition of my life - alone, temperatures down to -39°C and no prior arctic expedition knowledge.
It was one of the most amazing, humbling, teaching & memorable trips of my life. Some say that I'm crazy - I say that they are probably right.

Three childhood friends embarked on a journey none of them had been on before, putting to the test their friendship, skills and determination.

Vall de Madriu - one of the most beautiful valleys in the Pyrenees. This expedition was part of my studies in EWES (European Wilderness Education School).
Expecting increasing spring temperatures, we got a warning few days before of an arctic air mass coming our way, giving us some of the most memorable moments of our lives.

MT. KAZBEK, GEORGIA 2021
Deep in the Caucasus mountain range in Georgia, the aim of this expedition was to summit Mt. Kazbek (5054m) with my father and my late great grandmother.
Never before in my life had I seen snowy rugged peaks and felt the altitude steal my breath on every step - this was the first expedition I went on.
